- Be on Time, failure to report to work can result in release.
- Satisfactory job quality will be given on all Geiger Logging Inc. equipment.
- Maintain tractor property, not only the one you operate, the entire wood crew equipment – work together.
- Drivers will maintain truck and trailers at all times and notify Geiger Logging Inc. shop personnel for repairs on procedures you cannot correct yourself.
- All Geiger Logging Inc. employees will be responsible for maintaining workshop duties and work truck cleaning, maintain, and restocking with supplies.
- All paperwork for drivers and woods employees including wood or load tickets, purchase receipts, citations or violations, fuel receipts, mileage sheets, and payroll reporting sheets should be turned in Friday when the paycheck is picked up.
- Geiger Logging Inc. vehicles are not for personal use.
- Payroll is left at the Geiger Logging Inc. shop every Friday at 5:00 p.m. (no earlier, no later).
- All employees are responsible for contacting a supervisor or the office when an absence is necessary, a doctor’s excuse note should be sent into the office upon returning to work.
- All employees must give a one week notice before taking a vacation day(s).
- Any employee who is released or /eaves voluntarily within the ninety (90) day probationary period will be responsible for the payment of pre-employment drug test, which will be deducted from the final paycheck. The cost of the pre-employment drug test is $50.00.
- Any driver with a COL-commercial driver license that is released or leaves voluntarily within the ninety (90) day probationary period will be responsible for the payment of the required motor vehicle report, which will be deducted from the final paycheck. The cost of the motor vehicle report is $35.00.
- Geiger logging Inc. is a CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE and ALCOHOL-FREE WORKPLACE with a ZERO TOLERANCE policy; testing positive to any pre-employment/random/reasonable suspicion/post-accident drug test will result in termination of employment.
